# Q-Translator

Translating is a widely used subnet of Bittensor. TAOTools, at launch, offers a dedicated subnet to easily and accurately translate texts from one language to the other. This subnet is available both in our Web dApp, as well as through our Telegram bot.\
\
To access Q-Translator through our Web dApp, navigate to our [website](https://taotools-documentation.gitbook.io/taotools-documentation/dapp-and-bot-features/www.taotools.ai) and hit the 'Get Started' button. From here, you will be presented with the available Bittensor subnets. Hit 'Q-Translator' to enter this subnet. Simply input any text you want to translate, and mention to which language. For example, you can say 'Chicken to Polish', or even ask a whole sentence!

From here, prompting Q-Translator to help with a translation works in a similar way as in the Web dApp. Simply input a word or sentence and mention which language you want it translated to.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://taotools-documentation.gitbook.io/taotools-documentation/dapp-and-bot-features/q-translator.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
